Molecular Biology of the Cell (MBoC) is published twice per month online by the ASCB. MBoC publishes research articles that present conceptual advances of broad interest and significance within all areas of cell biology, genetics, and developmental biology. Unredacted accepted manuscripts are published rapidly after acceptance through MBoC In Press. The journal’s Features section includes Perspectives, Retrospectives, ASCB Awards Essays, MBoC Technical Perspectives, Book Reviews, and other interesting material about science and scientific careers.
CBE—Life Sciences Education (LSE), a free, online quarterly journal, is published by the ASCB. LSE publishes peer-reviewed articles on life science education at the K–12, undergraduate, and graduate levels. The journal focuses on how students are introduced to the study of life sciences, as well as approaches in cell biology, developmental biology, neuroscience, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, and proteomics.
The ASCB Newsletter (published 11 times per year) keeps ASCB members informed on grant and award opportunities, public policy issues, upcoming meetings, Society business, members in the news, and other news of interest to basic scientists.
