The Doorstep Meeting features Short Talks that allow members of the neuroscience community to present their research to their peers and experts in the field. Talks will be 5-minutes with time for a short Q&A and live feedback from experts. Presenters will gain valuable feedback to improve their skills for future projects.
Give a Short Talk at the Doorstep Meeting
ASCB is now accepting submissions to give a short talk at the 2021 Doorstep Meeting. Open to all ASCB members and nonmembers. Postdocs and students are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
- Electronic Abstract Submission* – No fee required.
- Doorstep Meeting Registration – Must be registered by October 22 to be considered.
Application Deadline: Friday, October 1, 2021
*Please note: Abstract submission for the Doorstep Meeting is separate from the Cell Bio 2021 Meeting abstract submission which includes a fee. Separate submission is required to participate for both opportunities. There is no fee to submit an abstract for the Doorstep Meeting.
How to Submit an Abstract
On your submission form, you will be asked to provide the following information:
- Abstract Title (200 max characters)
- Abstract Authors (1,000 max characters)
- Abstract Body (2,800 max characters)
If you need to make edits to your abstract prior to the October 1 deadline, click on the Submit an Abstract button on this page and you should see your original submission to make any changes. You will need to be logged into your ASCB account. Be sure to click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page to ensure your changes are saved. Edits can be made until 11:59pm PST on October 1.
