ASCB Elevator Pitch Contest—Enter to Win a Free ASCB Membership
Every year, the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) holds an in-person Elevator Pitch Contest to help attendees showcase the importance of their research. This year, we are excited to open the Contest to virtual entries. This is a low-stakes, fun contest which helps participants hone their communication skills. “Elevator pitches” are two-minute speeches that describe your research in terms that a non-scientist audience can understand. The goal should be to reach people outside of the ASCB community (from family members to program officers) and get them excited about your work. The winner(s) of the contest will receive a free ASCB membership.
Submissions must be videos no longer than 2 minutes. For pointers on crafting your elevator pitch, please see the ASCB’s Advocacy Toolbox.
