Getting There

Air

The San Diego International Airport is 10-15 minutes (3 miles) away, from the convention center doors. Travelers are encouraged to give themselves extra time when going to the airport as the airport is currently constructing a new, modern Terminal 1.

Train

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Santa Fe Depot offers a variety of bus and rail services. Take Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner from San Diego through Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo. Or board the NCTD Coaster for a scenic ride to Solana Beach, Carlsbad and Oceanside.

Drive

The SDCC is a few minutes drive from interstate highways I-5, 1-8, 1-15, and 1-805, Driving directions are available to view and customize based on your starting point in Google Maps.

International Travel

The American Society for Cell Biology and the European Molecular Biology Organization invite and welcome scientists from every part of the world to attend and participate in Cell Bio 2024. Attendees are not required to present a poster in order to attend the meeting. Please allow ample time for visa processing, as the application process can take several months in some countries. To obtain a letter of invitation, one must be a paid meeting registrant.
