ASCB offers a variety of honorific awards that recognize members for their excellence in research, education, mentoring, and service to the Society. This is our opportunity to celebrate the contributions of the colleagues who inspire us.
Besides the honorific awards, many of your colleagues are eligible to be recognized as ASCB Fellows—an honor bestowed upon ASCB members for their meritorious efforts to advance call biology and/or its applications. I hope you will look at the list of all those eligible and nominate someone deserving of the honor.
The process to apply is streamlined, so it’s easy for you to nominate a colleague, or yourself, for an award. Many of the awards offer an opportunity to speak and travel to Cell Bio 2024, and some offer cash. View all the awards here. Award applications are open from April 15 to May 15 (or June 30 for those that require a meeting abstract).
